Cajonat's Trilogy - 2013 grey RPSI German Riding Pony filly (Silver Premium score)

Arielle at 2 1/2 years old - September 2015.
Arielle (registered name Cajonat's Trilogy) is a brave little girl. She lost her mom when she was 14 hours old. We can all learn things about ourselves from animals, whether it be our depth of compassion, patience, the ability to communicate without words...if there was anything to be learned from Arielle, we learned it from her that night. I will grieve and call for my mom, then I will move on. It is what it is, so let's get on with the new life. It was amazing, sad, enlightening, and moving - what a brave little soul.
Arielle adapted quickly to the bottle and at two weeks of age, learned to nurse from an igloo cooler filled with formula and learned how to interact with other ponies. She's a horse through and through. No naughty orphan behaviours - PHEW!!!
Arielle managed to impress the RPSI inspectors in 2013 at her foal inspection with a 7.5 for her breed sex and type and 7.5 for her movement. Then in July 2014 she went out to try and qualify for the Stars of the West Pony Finals. It helps if you are the only one in your yearling class! But the biggest win - she was a complete ANGEL!! Loaded well, walked around a busy, busy horse show and trotted for her DAD!! Then in 2015 we took her at two years of age to her RPSI Mare Book inspection. It was a risk, but we weren't sure if the inspectors would be out in northern Alberta in 2016. Although still young and not quite the finished growing - she still managed to score 47 and has been entered into Mare Book 1!! What a great pony!
On October 30, 2016 Arielle traveled to her new home in Minnesota where she will be following her Mom's legacy and dabble in dressage. It was very, very hard evening for her humans. But like a trooper, she loaded onto the transport like the good girl she has always been. I will miss her terribly, but she needs a job. And she has a lovely dressage rider who will be taking her on new adventures! Looking forward to the updates!
